Renewal Rescue

Service

Renewal Rescue .jpg

The Renewal Rescue Service is our mediation service and is designed for contract renewals where the final destination looks bleak and unlikely to be successful without external support.

The Renewal Rescue is the only 'no-win, no-fee' service offered by Viewpoint Analysis - we only charge if there is a renewed contract. If we can't mediate an agreement, we know there are consequences for the customer and vendor.

Suitable for various technology renewals (e.g. SaaS contracts, support renewals et al) - if we can help, we will. We want to see successful projects, and renewals are the ultimate litmus test.

Renewal Rescue
How does it work?

We act as mediators, and we are extremely well-placed to do this with our experience in selling enterprise software (and renewing lots of contracts!) and buying enterprise software. Our Technology Matchmaker role uniquely qualifies us to get the best for both parties.

Our first step is to speak to both teams to get a lay of the land from both perspectives.

The majority of our time is spent with the client so that we can produce our "Customer Viewpoint" - a report that details the customer's situation. To create the Customer Viewpoint, we interview various key groups (exec sponsor, product owner, users, etc) to document their concerns - from customer experience to product or service features.

We then present the Customer Viewpoint to the vendor team (Renewals, Account Management, Leadership etc) to get their viewpoint and to talk through the client's feedback.

Finally, we bring the two together in a "Fix Meeting" - hosting and mediating the session with the aim of building a Service Improvement Plan that will be deserving of a renewed contract.

Timescales

The more time we have to run the Rescue Service, the better, but we know that sometimes we have just a matter of days or weeks - but that's ok, we like a challenge!

If both the vendor and the customer are willing, we can move quickly and find common ground. Moving quickly is often the preferred approach as both teams are focused.

It doesn't have to be last minute - in many cases, the renewals team knows the writing is on the wall many months in advance, either because they sense it or because the client has told them that they will not continue and renew the next contract.

Renewal Risk
360 Report

If your customer isn't quite at the 'rescue stage', maybe consider our Renewal Risk 360 Service - it provides an early warning sign that you may need on those 'potentially risky' renewals.

Do you want to see an example of the Renewal Risk 360 Report? We are not able to share real reports as the information is extremely sensitive, so we have created a 9-page example report.  Just request it at the link below.

Working Together

We want success for both the customer and the vendor - working together we can make it happen. Viewpoint Analysis sits in the middle and it is this that makes us very different and ideal for the renewal and retention area.

We have worked in enterprise sales and have negotiated hundreds of contracts and many renewals. How can we help your team improve your customer's experience and reduce the risk of a costly contract loss?
